LENTEN JOURNEY - (Seven Last Words of Jesus)

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We find ourselves in very trying times. Prayer is needed but also clear heads. I wish all of you the best in these very difficult times. As most of you have heard public Masses have been suspended in the diocese until further notice. Public health is very important and we need to look out for each other. I am celebrating the Mass in private for all of your intentions and especially those intentions that have been requested for loved ones.

The obligation of the Lord’s Day can be fulfilled through reverence and family prayer as long as public Masses are suspended. Please consider watching Mass on TV. Also, if this suspension continues through Easter Sunday, know that your Easter obligation can be fulfilled through Pentecost.

The church will be open every day from Noon until 8pm if you would like to come in for prayer and devotion.

The rosary will be prayed every day at the Holy Family statue in the back parking lot at 8:30am.

Eucharistic Adoration will continue every Wednesday as usual from 9:30am to 8pm.

Confessions will be heard on Wednesdays from 7pm to 8pm and on Saturdays from 4:00 to 4:45.

I will be making Communion available for those who want to receive it on Sundays at the front of the church from 11am until 1pm. On the hands only.

Please be respectful of each other, especially for health and well-being.

If you are able, please continue to financially support the parish by mailing in envelopes or through electronic giving in order to pay bills and staff.

Christ’s Peace,
Fr. Jim Kirkpatrick

I encourage all of you to take a look at the website We have a parish code that you will need to type in. The code is published in this week's Parish Bulletin on page 2. We would like to express our deepest thank you to all the wonderful parishioners who purchased gifts from our Giving Tree. You put smiles on many faces at Christmas. Without your help this could not have been possible. Thanks to the men and women who helped wrap and deliver the gifts. Our appreciation goes to all. May God Bless You! The Traveling Mary Statue is available to come into your home. Many ask for her when they have a special need or intention, or if they just want the peace and grace that Mary brings to those special people who turn to her. We need to turn back to Mary. We need to set our hearts on fire with love of Mary. She will intercede to her son, Jesus for our needs. If you would like to invite Mary into your home, call Ann at 692-4396.

If it does not please you to serve the Lord, decide today who will serve. Joshua addresses the people in the first reading proclaiming, as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. If you think God is calling you and you are willing to report for duty, call Fr. Andrew Lauricella at 847-5535 You can check out the 'Priest of the Month' stories on our website!
