MISSION STATEMENT
To serve the suffering and homebound in the parish community by bringing them compassion, prayer and Holy Communion.
The Ministry of Care was formed in July 1995 to serve the home-bound and sick of the parish by bringing them the Eucharist as well as helping them through compassionate works and prayer.
Since our formation, the Ministry of Care has assembled Eucharistic ministry teams to distribute communion to shut-ins and homebound parishioners, especially at Alterra Nursing Home, Northgate Manor Nursing Home, DeGraff Skilled Nursing Home and DeGraff Adult Day Care, and to provide transportation to weekly Mass and to doctor appointments. If anyone is in need of any of these services, please call the Rectory, 694-0540.
We send birthday cards to the home-bound and remembrance cards to families of deceased parishioners on their first year anniversary.
Our group meets on the second Tuesday of February, April and June at 7:30 p.m. in Kreuzer Hall. Interested parishioners may call Clarence Hurtubise, 694-8803 for more information.
The Prayer Network
For those with a special need, who would like the help of Prayer from our prayer pyramid of parishioners, to pray for their particular intentions, please call Joan, 694-5690 or Loretta, 957-3418. Your request will remain on our prayer list for three weeks. If you need to continue, please call back.
