YOUTH MINISTRY
Youth Director
Elizabeth Ziarnowski
The group is designed to help the youth of our parish grow in the love of God, to serve his people, to interact socially and hopefully develop lasting friendships. Open to Middle School and High School students this group has reached out with their support to those who are victims of homelessness, terminal illnesses, AIDS, domestic violence, and so forth. Each month this group concentrates on a social, economic, or spiritual issue, then finds productive ways to offer concrete assistance, while hopefully building friendships. In addition we provide a positive experience of sportsmanship, teamwork and self-discipline through athletic and social events. Guided by adult and peer leaders we hope to further expand and develop this program. In particular we would like to offer a Child Care service during weekend liturgies so parents of young children can participate more fully in the liturgy.
Contact the rectory at 694-0540, if you are interested in joining or helping this group of young people.
YOUTH GROUP
We encourage all parishioners to provide your ideas and support to the Youth Group by giving us ideas for activities you would like us to make available to the Youth. There are idea sheets in the back of the church for you to provide your input, as well as a sign-up sheet for parent volunteers who would like to assist as chaperones for future events.
